Tiago Alves de Jesus

Tiago Alves de Jesus oversees the Cyber Unit, National Security Criminal Investigations, for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), where he is responsible for developing the RCMP’s National Security’s cyber response capabilities through exercises (CyberStrom III), emergency management plans (Cyber Incident Response Team) and investigative response (Cyber Triage Unit). He is also the principal authority for Science and Technology research projects funded through DRDC’s Center for Security Sciences and co-leads the National Critical Infrastructure Test Center at NRCan. Prior to RCMP, he served at NSERC leading the Public-Private Partnership Program. He speaks at international conferences and holds advanced degrees in physics from McGill University and the University of British Columbia.
