Thomas Wilson

As Southern Company Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, Tom Wilson manages enterprise cybersecurity risk and strengthens the company’s cybersecurity resilience. In addition, Wilson engages in regional, national, and international initiatives to drive international cybersecurity policy and advance cybersecurity resilience of the energy sector worldwide. Wilson has led multiple technology functions with over 18 years of cybersecurity experience collaborating with company executives, board directors, and industry leaders to raise Southern Company and as the energy sector’s cybersecurity maturity. With a focus on regional and national security, Wilson works with US Federal Intelligence and Law Enforcement agencies to protect critical US infrastructure.
