Tanisha O’Donoghue

A Guyanese native, Tanisha is an Information Security Risk and Compliance Specialist at Tyler Technologies, assisting with policy management, audits and risk management. Tanisha received her start in cyber with an internship at Symantec in partnership with a nonprofit called Year Up. Tanisha’s career experience has included incident response/ recovery efforts, vulnerability management, risk management and compliance. She is the Director of Policy and Procedures at BlackGirlsHack, a nonprofit organization that provides resources, training, mentoring, and opportunities to black women to increase representation and diversity in the cyber security field. Her commitment is to work with individuals and organizations to increase diversity, inclusion and opportunities. She mentors with passion, guiding her mentees to enhance and elevate a vision for their lives.
