Subramanya Shankar

Subramanya Shankar is a Principal Consultant in Optiv’s Application Security Practice with over 18 years of experience in application security. Throughout his career, he has led and delivered security assessments across web applications, APIs, thick-client applications, databases, cloud environments, and software development lifecycles (SDLCs). He has extensive experience in threat modeling, authentication security reviews, secure architecture assessments, and application security program development. At Optiv, Subramanya plays a significant role in strengthening the Application Security practice through both client-facing engagements and internal capability development.
