Subra Kumaraswamy is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Visa Inc., responsible for cybersecurity, technology controls, and cyber resiliency. His 30+ years of experience have been instrumental in building Visa's Zero Trust Architecture and advancing VisaNet's cyber defense capabilities. Under his leadership, Visa has sustained the highest maturity rating in high-risk sectors, as awarded by Gartner. Before Visa, Subra held cybersecurity leadership roles at Apigee, Intuit, eBay, and Sun Microsystems. He holds multiple patents in user authentication and cloud security and co-authored "Cloud Security and Privacy: An Enterprise Perspective on Risks and Compliance." He is also a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance.
