Stuart Berman

Stuart Berman works at Steelcase Inc, the leading global provider of office environments, as their IT Security Architect since the founding of its Global Security, Risk and Compliance group 10 years ago. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Grand Valley State University. Recently he has been involved in investigating future trends in corporate computing and the impacts of moving Steelcase computing systems to the public cloud. Stuart has been instrumental in adopting outsourced and managed security services for Steelcase. Since Steelcase’s adoption of lean manufacturing more than 10 years ago, Stuart has been involved in learning about lean programs and penned one of the first papers on lean security in 2003.
