Steve Dyer

Steve Dyer is Software Security Chief Technologist and Head of Security Research at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In his role, he promotes innovation and new technologies across HPE. Dyer’s specialty is architecture at scale and earned his security chops protecting SaaS applications. His current passion is driving the widespread use of advance data analytics and data science to address evolving cybersecurity threats. With more than three decades of experience in high tech, Dyer began his career at Hewlett-Packard and has held numerous executive positions, including Oracle and SuccessFactors. He returned to HP as a Distinguished Technologist and served as architect of Fortify’s Application Defender and Chief Architect of ArcSight.
