Stephen Ward

For over 25 years, Stephen Ward has been immersed in cybersecurity, honing expertise across leadership roles as an investor at Insight Partners where he invested in companies like Wiz and Abnormal Security. Prior to that, he was the CISO of The Home Depot and TIAA, and in Security Operations at JPMorgan Chase. His journey began in the US Coast Guard and US Secret Service, instilling discipline and a commitment to safeguarding others. Most recently, he co-founded Brightmind Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm leading investments in cybersecurity. Over the past four years, he's supported and invested in some of the industry's fastest-growing companies. Beyond professional endeavors, he is a devoted autism advocate, inspired every day by his amazing son.
