Stephen Giguere started his cybersecurity journey by getting kicked out of high school computing class for escalating privileges on the school Linux system and changing all the passwords to “peaches”. Since then, Stephen's come a long way. With a career spanning aerospace, telecoms, and automotive, Stephen has worked across application security, Kubernetes, and cloud security, and co-authored the O’Reilly book on CNAPP. Today, as Principal AI Security Advocate at Lakera, Stephen focuses on educating teams, experimenting in the open, and helping the industry navigate the real risks of AI-powered applications.
