Stephanie Kiel

Stephanie Kiel leads a team of cyber policy subject matter experts supporting Google Cloud’s expanding global public sector partnerships on cybersecurity. Prior to joining Google, she served as Director of International Cyber Policy at the National Security Council’s Cybersecurity Directorate, where she led international policy development and engagement on the administration’s cyber priorities, including the establishment of the multilateral Counter Ransomware Initiative. Prior to her time at the NSC, Stephanie served in cyber policy roles at DHS/CISA, USCYBERCOM, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. She also managed research projects in big data analytics and computational science at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Stephanie has an MA in security studies from Georgetown University.
