Stanislaw Jarecki is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. He obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from MIT in 2001. Before coming to UCI in 2003, he was a Researcher at Intertrust Strategic Laboratory (2001–2002) and a Postdoc at Stanford University (2002–2003). Jarecki’s research focuses on efficient secure two-party and multiparty protocols. His contributions to this field include advances on threshold cryptosystems, general secure computation, aggregation of cryptographic functions, authentication privacy, covert computation, password authentication, secure set intersection computation, privacy-preserving information retrieval and searchable encryption.
