Prior to joining BMO, he was SVP for retail fraud operations & deposit loss avoidance, directing deposit fraud detection operations, and overseeing activities across national and international territories. He managed more than 350 professionals globally. Spencer and team thwarted more than 1B in potential fraud losses over the span of 3.5 years, received the PNC Gallup Great Workplace Award for excellence in employee and customer engagement, and achieved a 50% reduction in investigator losses.
