Dr. Somitra Sanadhya

Somitra Kr. Sandhya is an Associate Professor at IIT Ropar, India. He has received a B.Tech. from IIT Delhi in 1994 and a Ph.D. from ISI Kolkata in 2009. Prior to this, he was an Assistant Professor at IIIT Delhi where he received best instructor awards in 2015 and 2017. He was PC Co-Chair of SPACE 2012, ASK 2014 and INDOCRYPT 2016. He works in many areas of applied cryptography such as design and cryptanalysis of block ciphers and hash functions, password hashing, and post-quantum cryptography.
