Simon Dyson is the Cyber Security Operations Centre Lead in NHS Digitals Data Security Centre. As an information security specialist, Dyson has experience in risk and assurance holding certifications such as the Certified Cloud Security Professional and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Prior to NHS, Dyson was a Police officer working as Detective in both overt and covert policing as a Cyber Crime, working within Counter Terrorism Policing across the U.K. In 2018 Dyson was awarded an M.Sc. from Edinburgh Napier in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics. As an advocate for cybersecurity and blockchain technologies, Dyson has presented at numerous events including Hyperledger Global Forum in Basel, DeDays Mallorca and the 1st International Scientific Conference, London.
