Simon Wong

Special Agent Simon Wong has been with the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 2015. Before the FBI, SA Wong managed IT projects for the public transportation sector. Simon has worked numerous cyber threats within FBI, including those involving national security and counterterrorism. Simon currently investigates criminal botnets, DDoS, and computer intrusions. Simon was on the case team for the Qakbot investigation, where he oversaw all technical operations and international coordination, syncing the efforts across government, private sector, and international partners to neutralize Qakbot. Simon holds several certifications, including as an FBI cyber instructor where he has trained cyber criminal investigators around the world. Simon is originally from Southern California.
