Shingo Hane

Shingo Hane, Ph.D., General Manager / Senior Engineer, has over 20 years of experience in research and development on identity management and PKI systems in Hitachi, Ltd. He has engaged in national projects a long time to build up national systems, especially in PKI and ID management for citizens. He was a member of Cryptograph Operation Committee in CRYPTREC (Cryptography Research and Evaluation Committees), 2009–2011. He also has led starting new service of video-on-demand system, trust service, etc., using technologies of security in the private sector. He currently leads the national R&D project to build security and trustworthiness on supply chains of industries such as IT, manufacturing, and the service sector.
