Shelly Epps is responsible for security outreach and education, the enterprise phishing program, and security business engagement. She holds the Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Professional (HCISPP) certification from (ISC)2. She is a member of the NC FBI Citizens Academy and Raleigh ISSA. She describes herself as an accidental security analyst, having stumbled into the field in 2013 with minimal security skills, a host of transferrable skills and a sense of humor.
