Shaun Blackburn

Shaun is a senior Information Security leader and strategist with experience driving change and innovation in security engineering at scale. Prior to Gemini, Shaun served as Head of Detection Engineering, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management at Airbnb. Previously, he served as Head of Cloud Infrastructure Security at Netflix, where he led Netflix’s company-wide engineering strategy and was responsible for securing one of the world’s largest AWS deployments, and held various security positions at Amazon, most recently serving as Manager of Security Operations. Shaun also previously founded TekSolid, a technical consulting firm providing general IT services to SMBs, and successfully negotiated its acquisition.
