Seth Nielson

Dr. Seth Nielson is the Founder and Chief Scientist of Crimson Vista Inc. He holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from BYU and a PhD from Rice University. He is also an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Nielson has consulted on diverse technical projects in security communications, hardware acceleration, privacy, cryptography, and more. His clients range from startups to Fortune-100 companies. Dr. Nielson is also active in research on formal security proofs and ransomware, and has served as an expert witness on numerous legal cases related to cybersecurity.
