Sergio Lomban

With a background as a naval officer, Sergio Lomban is a Master Mariner, holding a master’s in nautical science and a postgraduate in research in marine technology. He deployed as part of NATO and UN operations overseas, and holds several recognitions, national and international. He remains a naval officer in the active reserve. He joined SGS in 2005 and has a strong involvement in development of new services and performance and quality enhancement. From 2018, based in Geneva, Lomban has been the Vice President of SGS Digital Trust Services. SGS provides assessment of the security and privacy of the digital world. As SGS chairs working group 1 (Standardization, Certification and Supply Chain Management) of the European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO), he will represent ECSO’s view of the panel discussion.
