Selena Templeton

Selena Templeton is host of the Diverse IT podcast, Executive Editor for ITSPmagazine and a writer, and covers industry conferences such as RSA, Black Hat, ISSA-LA and AppSec. After working for two years in the Canadian publishing industry, she moved to California where she writes, ghost writes and edits for a variety of clients across a wide spectrum of industries. One subject about which she has been passionate her whole life is the idea of diversity and inclusion. Covering Black Hat 2016 with ITSPmagazine co-founders Sean Martin and Marco Ciappelli was the impetus that led to the birth of the Diverse IT column and podcast, and in the last couple years she has helped grow it into a safe and fun platform where her conversational interviews and articles give a voice to the thoughts, ongoing efforts and, most importantly, victories of all her guests.
