Sean Farrell

Sean Farrell is Lead Counsel for Artificial Intelligence and National Security strategy at Microsoft's Digital Crimes Unit. Sean's team uses innovative technical and legal tools to disrupt cybercriminals globally. Prior to joining Microsoft, Sean led investigative teams combatting fraud and other criminal activity against Amazon and Amazon Web Services. Sean began his career as a Presidential Management Fellow with the FBI's Counterterrorism Division and later transitioned to the Office of the General Counsel where he founded and led the FBI’s first ever Cyber Law Unit. Sean is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and Penn State- Dickinson School of Law.
