Samara Moore

Samara Moore, Director Cybersecurity at Exelon, partners with corporate security, IT/OT and business leaders to shape and direct cybersecurity risk management efforts and align security measures with business and IT strategies. She brings more than 20 years of IT and Security experience to implementing and sustaining programs to effectively manage cyber risks. A seasoned cybersecurity practitioner and thought leader; she has led development of frameworks such as the Electricity Sector Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model and NIST Cyber Security Framework. She is a former Director of Cybersecurity, Critical Infrastructure Protection for the White House National Security Council and was a Sr. Cybersecurity Advisor at the Energy Department.
