Ryan Gillis
VP Cybersecurity Strategy and Global Policy, Palo Alto Networks
Ryan Gillis works with organizations around the world to develop and implement strategies and operational partnerships that help prevent successful cyberattacks. Gillis leads the company’s engagement in global public policy, legislation, industry associations, and he contributes to thought leadership within the cybersecurity community. Previously, Gillis spent nearly 15 years in a variety of roles with the US government, as well as technology startup and defense contracting companies. Most recently, Gillis served as a cybersecurity official with the US National Security Council at the White House, where he received the “Outstanding Service Award.” Gillis is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and US IT Sector Coordinating Council’s (IT-SCC) Executive Committee.
