Rosa Ayer

Ms. Rosa Ayer has over 21 years of VA experience and spent 10 years as an Information Security Officer. For the past 6 years Ayer has been a project manager for the Office of Information and Technology's Information Technology Workforce Development (ITWD). In this role, she leads multiple awareness initiatives including the development of the required annual information security and privacy awareness training as well as role-based training programs promoting training to non-technical staff. Her innovative thinking, subject matter expertise, and passion for information security keep her engaged as a trusted advisor for many ongoing training initiatives. She presented at the VA Info Sec Conference each year for 13 years, and spoke at the FISSEA conference in 2008, 2009 and 2011.
