Romain Gaucher is a Senior Security Researcher at Coverity. As part of the security research team in the Office of the CTO, Gaucher is focused on researching new and existing security vulnerabilities in code to build this knowledge into the Coverity technology portfolio and share it broadly across the development community. Prior to Coverity, he was a senior security consultant at Cigital and a security researcher a NIST.
He is a frequent contributor to the security community as a co-author of the Software Assurance Findings Expression Schema (SAFES) and contributor to MITRE's Common Attack Patterns and Enumeration Classification (CAPEC). He is an officer of the Web Application Security Consortium (WASC), and a committee member for NIST SATE.
