Roelof du Toit

Roelof du Toit is a Distinguished Engineer at Symantec by Broadcom. He is part of the architecture team at Symantec responsible for data path components of Symantec Enterprise Cloud and has more than 25 years of experience designing and building network security products and implementing modern network security protocols like TLS. His work on a TLS stack in 2018 led to various contributions to the design of TLS 1.3, as acknowledged in IETF RFC8446. He graduated with degrees in Engineering (1993) and Computer Science (1995) from UP in South Africa and currently resides on the East Coast of the USA.
