Rob Joyce is the Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity Strategy to the Director of the National Security Agency (NSA). Since 1989 he worked in NSA’s Cybersecurity and Signals Intelligence missions. His previous assignment was Special Assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator at the White House, leading the development and implementation of national and international cybersecurity strategy and policy for the US. There he served as Deputy Homeland Security Advisor and Acting Homeland Security Advisor. Previous assignments at NSA include the Chief of Tailored Access Operations and Deputy Director of the Information Assurance Directorate. Over Christmas, he runs a computerized light display synchronized to music, likely visible from the International Space Station.
