Rick Doten

Rick is VP, Information Security at Centene Corporation. He is CISO for Healthcare Enterprises; and, CISO of Carolina Complete Health Medicaid healthplan. Previously, Rick worked as Virtual CISO supporting international companies. During that time Rick educated corporate boards, developed and matured security programs, and created the curriculum for a Cybersecurity Master’s degree program for an International University. Rick was named top Global CISOs in 2022 and 2023 for Cyber Defense Media. Rick is a frequent speaker at cybersecurity conferences and guest on cybersecurity podcasts, he is a member of The CyberWire Hashtable series, on the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) CXO Trust Advisory Council, and the Boards of his local Charlotte ISC2 and CSA Chapters.
