Richard Kisley

Richard Kisley joined IBM in 2001 and the Hardware Security Module team in 2005, where he is Chief Engineer. Richard has been working with payment security standards since 2015, is active at the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council as a Board of Advisors Member and PCI Community Meeting speaker in 2024, 2023, and 2022. Richard became the IBM primary contact to X9.org in 2018 and is the Vice Chair of X9F. Richard joined ISO TC68 SC2 in 2019 representing the US and was elected Convenor of ISO TC68 SC2 WG11. Richard has been a speaker on payment security standards at the international Crypto Module conference in 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021. Richard is the past and current Editor of Standards focused on secure key management, including X9.143 and ISO 20038.
