Rebecca McHale

Rebecca McHale is the Chief Information Security Officer for Blackboard Inc., a global educational technology and services company. She oversees Blackboard’s cybersecurity governance program and leads the security strategy for Blackboard’s products and supporting IT infrastructure. McHale has over 15 years of experience delivering adaptive cybersecurity services, largely in support of the US government. At companies Novetta and CSRA, she provided technical direction for enterprise security solutions for government clients, and led large security programs with emphases in risk and compliance, security operations, threat intelligence and incident response. McHale holds an MS in discrete mathematics and computing applications from Royal Holloway, University of London.
