Rafi Martina serves as Senior Policy Advisor for Senator Mark Warner. In this capacity, he acts as the senator’s Principal Advisor on technology, telecom and consumer protection issues, and as Principal Cybersecurity Advisor across committee assignments in banking and intelligence. He has spearheaded the senator’s work on social media disinformation, authoring the Honest Ads Act and numerous pieces of legislation the senator has led on information security, including the IoT Cybersecurity Improvement Act of 2017. He previously served as Counsel for Sprint Corp, representing Sprint in mergers and acquisitions, standards setting and major rulemaking proceedings before the FCC, 3GPP, NTIA and DOJ. He holds degrees from the University of Michigan and University of Virginia School of Law.
