Peter G. Neumann is a co-author of “Keys Under Doormats: Mandating Insecurity by Requiring Government Access to All Data and Communications.” He has been in SRI’s Computer Science Lab since September 1971 where he is now Senior Principal Scientist. He has doctorates from Harvard and Darmstadt and was with Bell Labs throughout the 1960s. He is PI of an ongoing DARPA project for the CRASH (Clean-slate trustworthy hosts) and was PI for its companion Mission-oriented Resilient Clouds program. He moderates the ACM Risks Forum (http://www.risks.org). He is a Fellow of the ACM, IEEE, SRI and AAAS. In 2012, he was elected with the first set of inductees to the newly created National Cybersecurity Hall of Fame.
