Peter Dornheim

Peter Dornheim has been responsible for cyber security in companies in various roles for over ten years. After starting in SAP Security consulting, he supported an automotive company in setting up a Security Operation Center in India and adapted the group's IT risk management to current cyber threats. After that, he took over the responsibility for cyber defense, security risk management, and cyber security awareness in a global process automation company. During this time, Peter was a runner-up for the CIO Yong Talent Award, started his doctorate in Cyber Security Culture and gave selected presentations at international (research) conferences. After a brief stopover as CISO at a global oil and gas company, he has been leading SAP's cross-functional IT Security unit since March 2021.
