Pete Cordero

Supervisory Special Agent Pedro “Pete” Cordero has been a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for over 20 years and is currently the Assistant Section Chief of the Cyber Criminal Section of the FBI’s Cyber Division. The mission of the Cyber Criminal Section is to provide program management for the threat-based analysis of all non-national security and non-child pornography cyber crimes, to include criminal computer intrusions, intellectual property rights violations and theft of trade secrets and internet fraud; develop and maintain liaison with industry and other law enforcement agencies both domestic and international; and conduct initiatives to coordinate investigative cases and provide “best practices” to the field.
