Patrick McGloin

Patrick McGloin is a passionate security practitioner. He is a former British diplomat, government advisor and consultancy partner. With former colleagues, he now runs a boutique practice focusing on crisis management, contentious and complex matters for select clientele. Recent work includes international litigation; expert witness for high court cases; detecting and countering deepfake and disinformation campaigns (political and financial markets); and advising clients in the aftermath of debilitating cyber incidents.

Patrick is an advocate for the profession. He is a Board Member and Fellow at the Chartered Institute for Information Security, and sits on the strategic board for the ethics and standards body for UK government and law enforcement digital and cyber forensics (ICDIP).
