Pamela Smith

Pamela Smith is President of Verified Voting, a nonpartisan nonprofit working to safeguard elections in the digital age. Smith directs policy and strategy, providing information and testimony on how we use technology in election processes at federal and state levels, including to the US House of Representatives Committee on House Administration. She oversees an extensive information resource on election equipment and regulations governing its use nationwide. She has authored reports on postelection audits, voting system testing and certification, remote accessible ballot marking, technology and the secret ballot, and state by state election preparedness, and is a Contributing Author of Confirming Elections: Creating Confidence and Integrity through Election Auditing.
