Øystein Fladby

Øystein Fladby has over 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain. He brings expertise in designing and building backend systems using cloud services. Prior to joining RSAC he worked at Crosspoint Labs where he contributed to due diligence and implementing AI support systems. During his career working for Blue Coat, Symantec and NortonLifeLock, Øystein has worked as a low-level reverse engineer and malware analyst which he utilized to build automated systems for processing and analyzing big data. He has also been leading threat research and incident response teams as well as managing programming teams and projects. Øystein holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Gjøvik University College in Norway and also studied at the University of Technology, Sydney in Australia.
