Olivier Blazy is an Associate Professor at the University of Limoges in France. He did his Ph.D. in the Ecole Normale Supérieure, on proofs of knowledge and their application to blind signatures and authenticated key exchange. He spent two years as a Postdoc in the Ruhr-University in Bochum (Germany). Since then, he leads the master-level security program in Limoges, and conducts research on the areas of implicit cryptography, identity-based communications, and code-based cryptography. He is involved in several french/european projects on cryptography and security of communications. He has proposed several candidates for the NIST post quantum standardization process, two of which (BIKE, HQC) are still in the running. He is co-supervising the French work-group on Codes and Cryptography.
