Niek J. Bouman is a post-doctoral researcher interested in privacy-preserving data mining and secure multi-party computation, and is currently affiliated to Eindhoven University of Technology. He participates in the EU-H2020-funded SODA project (“Scalable Oblivious Data Mining”). In 2016-2017, he was affiliated to ABN AMRO Bank, where he worked as a senior researcher on fraud detection. From 2014 to 2016, he was a postdoc at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. From 2008 to 2012, he was with CWI’s cryptology group, and obtained his PhD (2012) from Leiden University on the topic of Quantum Cryptography. He obtained the BS (2005) and MS (2007) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Universiteit Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands.
