Nicole Tisdale is Interim Senior Director and long-time Senior Advisor to the Cybersecurity Programs at Aspen Digital. She has eighteen years of experience as a national security attorney at The White House – National Security Council and the US Congress’ House Committee on Homeland Security, complemented by consulting for philanthropic and corporate clients. Her expertise spans cybersecurity, counterintelligence, and cyber impacts on rural and low-income communities. At the White House, she led cybersecurity advocacy before Congress, driving creation of the $1 billion cybersecurity grant program and passage of the cyber incident reporting law. She has represented the US in 40 international delegations across 28 countries and spoken at more than 80 conferences in three years.
