Nicolas Lidzborski is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google leading Google Workspace engineering teams focused on Security and Encryption. He is a longtime advocate of security and privacy capabilities respecting users. Some work he designed and delivered to improve security for billions of users includes drastically growing email encryption in transit, contextual phishing warnings in Gmail and client-side encryption. He is actively collaborating with Google Research, gave talks to multiple security conferences and received IETF ANRP award in 2016 for his research publication on internet email security. Before Google, Lidzborski was the lead security engineer for Qualys where he designed and built a highly secure cloud architecture used by top security, technology, and Fortune 500 companies.
