Nawaf Bitar
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Security Business Unit, Juniper Networks, Inc.
Nawaf Bitar joined Juniper Networks in April 2011 and today is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Security Business Unit. In this role, Bitar is responsible for Juniper's security business including the overall strategy and execution. He is also a Venture Partner at Allegis Capital. Prior to joining Juniper, he served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations of Security Technology at Cisco Systems, Inc. He joined Cisco in 2007 when it acquired IronPort Systems, where he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Previously he served as Vice President of File Systems and Services at Network Appliance, Inc and held roles at Silicon Graphics, Inc. and Apollo Computer, Inc. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. degree.
