Mike Nichols

Mike Nichols is the Vice President and Product Lead for Elastic Security. He is responsible for the roadmap and vision of the security product portfolio, including the SIEM and security analytics, endpoint security/XDR, and cloud security capabilities. Prior to Elastic, Mike was the Vice President of Product Management at Endgame, an Endpoint Protection Platform company, which was acquired by Elastic in 2019. Mike has over 20 years of cybersecurity experience, starting his career in the US Army as an intelligence analyst, then transitioning into civilian life as a security analyst before moving into product development and product management. Besides his corporate role, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity Strategy at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
