Mike Cunningham

Mike Cunningham is the co-creator of the Fight Fraud Framework and an R&D Program Manager MITRE, where he leads the execution of a research portfolio that advances the state of the art and the state of practice in threat-informed defense. He oversees complex, multi-disciplinary projects that translate cutting-edge research into practical capabilities for defenders. Prior to joining MITRE, Mike served as an Interactive On-Net Operator in the NSA’s Tailored Access Operations, bringing deep operational experience to his research leadership. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, making music, staying fit, and basking in the San Diego sun.
