Mieke Eoyang

Mieke Eoyang is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber Policy. Her office establishes DoD cyberspace policy and strategy, provides guidance and oversight on DoD cyberspace activities, and manages DoD’s primary external relationships across the US government and allies and partners. She was previously Senior Vice President for the National Security Program at Third Way, where she founded the Cyber Enforcement Initiative focused on improving efforts to impose consequences on malicious cyber actors. Before joining Third Way, she was Chief of Staff to Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and served as Subcommittee Staff Director for Intelligence Community Management on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. She also served as Defense Policy Advisor to Sen. Edward M. Kennedy.
