Michael Sechrist is Executive Director for Threat and Risk Management at athenahealth. Prior to that, Sechrist was Chief Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he managed the Solutions Architecture team within its Advanced Threat Services division. He has 15 years’ experience working in the private, public, and academic sectors, to include positions at State Street Corporation, Harvard University, Department of Defense, Department of State and the White House. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and master’s from Harvard Kennedy School, where he was a Department of Homeland Security Fellow.
