Michael Daniel

President and CEO, Cyber Threat Alliance

Michael Daniel currently serves as the President and CEO of the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA). Prior to joining CTA , he served from June 2012 to January 2017 as Special Assistant to President Obama and Cybersecurity Coordinator on the National Security Council Staff. In this role, Daniel led the development of national cybersecurity strategy and policy and ensured that the US government effectively partnered with the private sector and other nations. From 1995 to 2012, he worked for the Office of Management and Budget, overseeing the budgets for the US Intelligence Community and other national security programs.
