President and Chief Executive Officer, Cyber Threat Alliance
Michael Daniel serves as the President & CEO of the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA), a not-for-profit improving the cybersecurity of the digital ecosystem. CTA enables high-quality cyber threat information sharing among cybersecurity organizations. Prior to CTA, Daniel served for four years as U.S. Cybersecurity Coordinator, leading development of national cybersecurity policy and ensuring that the U.S. Government effectively partnered with the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and other nations. From 1995 to 2012, Daniel worked for the Office of Management and Budget, overseeing the U.S. Intelligence Community. He serves on the Aspen Cyber Group and participates in numerous other cybersecurity working groups. In his spare time, he enjoys running and martial arts.
