Megan Brown

Megan Brown is a Partner at Wiley Rein LLP where she Co-Chairs the Privacy, Cyber, and Data Governance Practice. She has represented major companies and trade associations on virtually every federal cyber initiative for the past 15 years. She helps clients manage incidents, including ransomware attacks and respond to data breach investigations. She develops compliance and advocacy strategies under a variety of federal and state statutes. As a former senior Department of Justice official, Megan helps address national security challenges. She has testified before the US Senate and serves on the US Chamber of Commerce’s Cybersecurity Leadership Council and as Associate Director for Cybersecurity at George Mason law school’s National Security Institute.
