Matthew Norris

Matthew Norris is a SOC Analyst and Engineer for MKACyber. Norris evolved from web programming, to system administration, to security. He has a deep knowledge of security operations having worked in multiple security operations centers and has performed multiple roles from incident response to technology deployment/integration and served as the founding Technical Manager of the Justice Security Operations Center. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the George Washington University (GWU) teaching two courses on computer network defense and has both his bachelor’s and master’s of science in computer science from GWU. Norris’s first language was Perl and his second was Ada.
